Our colleagues, Assistant Professor Dr. Emilija Svirčev and Junior Researcher Mirjana Janić, MSc, from the Chair of Biochemistry and Chemistry of Natural Products, are part of two months research visit team at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Regensburg, Germany (Fakultät für Chemie und Pharmazie, Universität Regensburg).

Their hosts are Professor Dr. Jörg Heilmann and Dr. Guido Juergenliemk. During research visit they will master modern techniques of isolation and chemical characterization of proanthocyanidins from plant extracts.

The research visit is funded by the Eastern Europe exchange program, the German Academic Exchange Service (“Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst – DAAD”).
