The members of the Chair of Chemistry Teaching Methodologyare engaged in doing research in several directions:

  • history of chemistry and history of chemistry teaching
  • a systematic approach to learning and training in chemistry
  • complexity of problem tasks
  • initial education and professional development of chemistry teachers
  • learning styles in teaching chemistry
  • motivation factors
  • giftedness in the study of chemistry
  • ecological education
  • education of chemistry teachers

At the Chemistry Teaching Methodology, there are ongoing research on the development of new methods of evaluation in chemistry teaching at all levels of education: primary, secondary and high education.

Members of the Chair are involved in several projects financed by the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia and international organizations.
