The aim of establishing the Chair was to satisfy the growing needs for chemistry teachers in primary and secondary schools.

At the Chair of Chemistry Teaching Methodology teaching activities take place through a series of compulsory and elective courses, at integrated, basic, master and doctoral studies.

The scientific work of the Chair refers to research in the field of all levels of chemical education.
