Research focus

This group is involved in research in various fields of chemical education:

  • Levels of representation in chemistry,
  • Alternative conceptions,
  • Systemic approach to teaching and learning chemistry,
  • Task´s complexity,
  • Development of illustrative-graphical methods.

Over the past years, this group has organized seminars for primary and secondary school teachers. Members of this group are currently involved in the implementation of an accredited CPD for chemistry teachers entitled “Contemporary forms of evaluation in chemistry teaching”. Members of the research group have been involved in several projects supported by the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia and by international organizations. The results of this group have been published in numerous scientific journals of the highest rank, and have been presented at international and national conferences.
