The Chair of Biochemistry and Chemistry of Natural Products was founded in 1978 at the Institute of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences University of Novi Sad. Today, members of the Chair primarily perform teaching in scope of: four-year bachelor biochemistry program, one-year master biochemistry program and three-year doctoral biochemistry program. In addition, they are also involved in biochemical courses for students of other study programs, both at the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Environmental Protection and at other Departments of the Faculty of Science University of Novi Sad.
From its foundation, the Chair of Physical Chemistry gathers together teachers and associates engaged in teaching the courses in physical chemistry group of subjects, both at undergraduate and graduate (master and doctoral) levels.
The Chemical Technology and Environmental Protection Groups conducts educational and scientific activities related to the field of chemistry and environmental protection.
