Members of the Chair of Analytical Chemistry are engaged in the teaching of a number of compulsory and elective courses at the bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees to the students of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Quality Control and Environmental Management and Environmental Protection Analyst, the bachelor degree in Ecology, as well as to the Master of Tourism.
The scientific research at the Chair is related to the areas of analytical chemistry, green chemistry, and ionic liquids, as well as to environmental protection. The research group has participated in the realization of more than 50 scientific and professional projects. It is especially important to point out the participation in 6 international projects in the frame of the programs of the European Agency for Reconstruction, IPA, SEE-ERA.NET Plus, CEPUS, and ERASMUS+.

The cooperation with experts from abroad is realized through the projects with a number of institutions from Hungary, Romania, Italy, Greece, France, Slovenia, USA, Poland, Russia, Thailand, Czech Republic, Austria, Croatia, People’s Republic of China and Finland.

At the national level, the group has developed cooperation with several academic institutions in the frame of the universities of Novi Sad, Belgrade and Kragujevac.

The Chair staff consists of the following people: 2 full professors, 4 associate professors, 4 assistant professors, 1 assistant with PhD, 2 research associates, 4 research assistants, 3 junior researchers, and 5 senior technicians.
Members of the Chair are active in a number of international and national professional associations and organizations such as the Serbian Chemical Society – Chemical Society of Vojvodina, Serbian Chemical Society, Serbian Society for Water Protection, Society for Materials Study, Electrochemical Society, Public Body of the Hungarian Academy of Science, and Working Board of the Thermoanalytical Section of the Hungarian Academy of Science.
