RESEARCH FIELDS

  • Scientific research in field of sediment, with an emphasis on stabilization/solidification of toxic metals in sediment, and application of new materials in order to stabilize the sediment.

SELECTED PROJECTS

  • Improvement of sediment remediation technology in order to protect water, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia (2011-2019).
  • Analysis of wastewater and recipients in case of potential accidental discharges and analysis of sludge with a proposal of measures for safe dredging and disposal of sediment, funded by “Waters of Vojvodina”, Novi Sad, (2020), participant.
  • Bilateral project Serbia-Hungary, Development of new nanocomposites based on biochar for remediation of contaminated sediment – NoBiNano, (2021-2022) participant.
  • Programe IDEJA: Research reinforcement within environmental aspects: step forward to beneficial use of sediment – BEuSED, financed by Science fund of the Republic of Serbia, (2021-2024) participant.
